The oxtail was so good. Very soft and tender melts in your mouth. chicken tacos pack a punch with the different sauces. Jerk chicken is spicy with a hint of sweetness. Rum punch makes you feel like you’re on an island.

I found that they were very disorganized and unprofessional so it was a terrible experience on my end. MUSIC: When we got there, the music was at a decent volume, it was perfect. But then they turned up the volume to the point that you had to screen to talk, as if it was a club. FOOD AND SERVICE: the menu is confusing, looks like it was done by AI and the prices DO NOT make sense. We were a group of 8 and for some reason the took our drink orders at different times ? So some of us had drinks and half of us didn't and no one has asked them yet. When the food finally arrived, it was the same story.. some of us had our food for like 10min and others were still waiting.. so the food was getting colder as we were waiting for the other to start eating. They also got very confused as to who ordered what, instead of announcing the plate and ask whose it was.. they would just give it to anybody and they mixed it up twice and we had to realize ourselves. I took the lamb chops, the plate for JUST the lamb was 25$.... see picture for quantity(2 TINY lamb chops, I am a slow eater and I ate it in 4 bites. Four bites of food.). I had to pay for the rice an additional 6$ and I left hungry btw. I don't think the picture does it justice but the plate is teeny tiny, for that price I feel very scammed. Then the waitress didn't even wait for me to finish, she just grabbed the plate without asking... and I was not done. This has never happened to me ever. It was a birthday so we brought a cake and we confirmed a bunch of times which one of us was the birthday girl. They still gave the cake to the wrong person and sang for the wrong person. As for the taste of the food, it was good but the lamb was way too salty. My friends also said their food was too salty. Overall I will never go back and I do not recommend, I am pissed off I had to pay for this garbage experience. They never even acknowledged or apologized for any of their numerous mistakes. Never again. Save your money.

My friend and I are in town for a girls trip, we met some friends here for dinner and we were not disappointed. Jessica was incredible, the food and drinks were delicious and the ambiance in the restaurant was perfect. If this type of cuisine appeals to you, you will not be disappointed.

My hubby and I love the spot especially for date night. The staff is wonderful the manager Jessica is awesome. The chef Cooks the food with care and love.

I had an amazing experience at Alur! The food was delicious and very flavourful. The cocktails were so delightful & our server Jachelle was very kind and welcoming. I had an amazing date with my husband. 10/10 Recommend
