We really love this café — we travel around the world, and honestly, we haven’t had better cheeseburgers anywhere than the ones here. We highly recommend this place: the food is absolutely delicious, and the owners are truly warm and welcoming.

Great food, fast service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made sure everything was perfect. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well presented. Definitely one of my favorite spots — I’ll be coming back for sure!

I really like this place but unfortunately last time their Steak sub it was not what it used to be! It was full of fat and chewy parts that I couldn’t eat! Please keep the good quality like before! It was honestly disappointing to see the bad meat quality

Hi Michelle. We’re really sorry to hear that your last steak sub wasn’t up to the quality you’re used to from us. We just want to reassure you that we have never changed our steak. We’ve been working with the same meat supplier since the early 90’s, and we still use fresh high-grade Spencer steak. Sometimes with fresh cuts, there can be fattier pieces that unfortunately make it through, and we understand how disappointing that can be. We truly appreciate you bringing it to our attention, and we’ll make sure to be extra careful with the trimming and quality control. Me and my brother are always here, and if we had known right away, we would have taken care of it immediately and sent you another sandwich. :) Hope to see you soon again!! that 2 star brings tears to our eyes.

Wow! Amazing Pizza and pasta, good prices too and great service. Had the All Dressed Pizza and lasagna which was fantastic- nice ice cold beer too - just what we needed after our flight into Montreal!

We couldn’t finish, but it was delicious! We didn’t realize it was a challenge so we attempted but definitely need to train for that one! Everything was incredible!! We’re from out of town and will definitely be stopping by again when we’re in town!!! What a great spot!!!

When in Montreal, don’t skip ALTO’s restaurant. We came for the GIANT pizza slice but the experience is so much more than that! Lydia is the kindest person, she makes you feel like part of her family. We will be back!
