I only tried the drinks there, their matcha was good. A very nice exotic atmosphere for a solo time or a meetup with friends. Check their products they have interesting options.

Amazing atmosphere! This a neighborhood hidden gem! Thank you for a great experience!
The place is nice, although some furniture are too old and not are comfortable. It seemed the staff are not trained and the service is in a bit of mess! I ordered an omelet for my daughter and three coffees for us. It took more than 25 minutes to get the food. No spoons, no forks no napkins no nothing! (But there were some culteries on other tables). I went and grabbed those stuff from the counter. We had already finished our coffees!! The omelet came with two little tiny slices of bread I asked for more bread for my daughter, it took more than 5 minutes a gentleman came over and said I have to pay for bread!! I went to counter and paid 3.85$ and waited for another five minutes to get two very tiny slices of bread!!!! ( I still don't believe that they charge you for a slice of bread!!). The food was already cold at the time and I was amazed how they give service to customers!
A walkable café recommended by my son—lovely setting, and the staff were both beautiful and gentle. Since it was a workday, it wasn’t crowded. I had a latte, which was rich and flavorful, and the staff warmed up the bread, making it taste even better.
Man it’s crazy
The staff is pretty rude and super unwelcoming. This happened more than once
The atmosphere and the decoration is nice and it is quite big, enough space for a coffee place but their prices and the food quality doesn't match( overpriced for what you get). We were charged extra to use our laptops despite ordering food and drinks. I wouldn’t return or recommend it—there are better places to work without added fees.
What a funky little place. Amazing avocado toast and coffee. Will be back for a glass of wine for sure!
$7 for a watery latte and when I pulled out my laptop they told me I needed to go upstairs and pay $5 an hour, no thanks. Good luck keeping this place full.
Excellent service and delicious food! Highly recommend 😊
Oh my! This place is super loud with the music, an average of 99 dB in a café is quite loud. If you spend hours there regularly, it could strain your ears.
PROS: 1. The inside is nicely decorated, 2 levels: rdc, just get in and seat, it’s more crowded and noisy; upstairs, with reservation per day or per hour (7-16 $), usually for quiet study or chill meetings. 2. Food/ drinks: they have sandwiches and pastry; i only had a Feel good tea, it was delicious but 6.50$? 3. CONs: one serving girl upstairs and took 30 min to get 1 up tea. Other POV: It’s 15 minutes from Metro station ( parking in the street available only if lucky)
Atmosphere good. Service slow and disorganized. Food BAD and overpriced for the quality and the amount. We ordered avocado toast and Spanish omelet. The avocado toast had no flavour and it was cold from the fridge. The Spanish omelet was a disgrace to the real omelet. It was a bad mix of dry eggs and potatoes with no salt or flavour.
This place wins in atmosphere but was weak on food. We had the tortilla español, my wife is from Spain, an this should be removed from the menu. It has nothing to do with a tortilla española and was bland and dry. I had the avocado toast which was also bland. The coffees arrived way before the food and we had to order more coffees when our food came. I would go back for coffees but that is about it. Unfortunate as it has so much potential.
This may be the cutest, quirkiest coffee shop I've been to in all my travels! We sat at the counter, but there are plenty of comfy chairs, couches, + tables to lounge around in while you enjoy your coffee. Plus a myriad of antiques + curiosities to look at! Iced latte was excellent + maybe the best macaroons I've ever had! Also check out the IMAGINARIUM downstairs... super fun!
Walked in, they look up, turn around. Not a welcome or a hi. You feel so unwelcome.
A little glimpse of La Buvette du Dep it has positive vibes and offers an inviting ambiance that feels like a home away from home. This Gem is a must try of the list. It has delicious coffee, and excellent food options the atmosphere is rustic wooden decor, vintage touches, and an abundance of greenery, contributing to a warm and inviting vibe. The vintage scooter to the floral walls and delicious treats, every corner is filled with charm. 🖤🛵🥐☕️💐 #cafevibes @labuvettedudep #vitagecafe #plantdecor #scooterlove #uniquedesign #montreal
Coffee isn't dialed here. 5th time coming here since opening, ordering a cortado. Coffee tastes stale, watery and bitter. Dial your coffee if you want to charge people $5+ for a coffee drink...
My experience here wasn’t good. The staff made it feel like ordering a coffee was an inconvenience, which immediately set the tone. After paying too much for a coffee that was honestly very underwhelming, I was told I had to pay extra just to use my laptop - which felt unreasonable. Between the service and the quality of the coffee, it wasn’t a place I’d return to.
This is a ridiculous place that forces you to pay to stay in their shop to study or work. Even though I already pay for a drink. Not advised unless you want to waste your money for nothing. Avoid at all costs
Interesting café. Good ambiance with plants and old & modern decor. Great service.
Before thinking of going there, do yourself a favour and go read the 1/5 stars reviews. You’re welcome. Rude and unprofessional baristas. They force you to pay to work on your laptop after paying 10$ on pastries and coffee, which weren’t even worth it. To my surprise I asked if this was a permanent thing, the barista almost rolled her eyes at me and I responded yes in a dry fashion. Later when I asked for a glass of water, the same barista didn’t even bother answering, instead, she unashamedly just pointed the water fountain to me while making a rude face. There’s a reason half of the reviews have rated this place 1/5 - You can have the nicest coffee shop but if your customer service is bad, it’s worth nothing. Clearly the management needs to train their employees to understand good manners and professionalism. First and last time - There are way better coffee shops out there, because everyone deserves to be treated better than this.
Came on a busy day thinking it would’ve been a quick takeout. Had to wait about 1 hour for my chicken sandwich. I don’t know if they lost my ticket but it looks like the kitchen was really busy and in the process. I think I was just an exception but it did upset me. The staff was over all nice. They definitely were understaffed or the way they work with takeouts needs to be revised.
Amazing place to just relax and experiance. Great quality coffee and food and the interior design is the main attraction in my opinion and keeps you coming back for a good sit down.
Super cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff!
