It's a little tight. With a stone barrier 🚧 at the front that goes all along the restaurants length where you order. When there is a lineup it can cause anxiety to new clients with being squished in between The wall and other clients. The staff was friendly , the poutine sauce was basic but reasonably priced.

Alpha Hot-Dog has a mountain of reviews for a reason. Even with a weekday line out the door, the operation is efficient and moves fast. The Breakdown: The Poutine: Top-tier. They don't skimp on the cheese curds, and the gravy-to-fry ratio is spot on. The Sides: Both the fries and the onion rings hold their own—crispy, well-seasoned, and fresh. Value: Portions are heavy for the price point. It’s rare for a spot with this much noise to actually deliver on the fundamentals, but Alpha hits the mark

Busy, which is an good sign. But that leads to timing issues. My poutine was ready and waiting more than 5 minutes before my hot dogs. The staff was friendly, despite being busy. The poutine was really good, a bit too much cheese for my taste, but I'm probably in the minority. It was huge for the regular size. The hot dogs were good, standard Québec steamies. The cabbage was a bit sweet, which was unexpected, but really good. Overall, I'd definitely go back.

If you are a poutine lover it's well worth the detour. Best I've ever had. As for the rest of this gast food menu look fantastic. I'm eager to try it.

Their poutine was awesome! I wanted to try it after seeing great recommendations on Reddit from locals, and it totally lived up to the hype. We got their classic poutine, which was super tasty, and the portion was huge with tons of cheese curds. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for an authentic classic poutine.

Up there with the best poutines in Quebec, in an authentic 70s dinner atmosphere with the order callouts and very nice cooks! They now also take credit cards!

Just go, you know you want that poutine. Doesn't matter what time, as long as they're open, poutine is available. Breakfast, Lunch, Supper, whatever!
