Amazing friendly Portuguese ambiance! They make you feel like you are at home. Great service and great food! The octopus was the best I have had in Canada so far and the Passion Fruit mousse was a nice light savory end to the meal. I hope your experience is as good as mine.

Went for a special occasion. Even with a full house and no reservation, the owner found room for us at the bar. The bartender and staff were fantastic, ensuring clean cutlery and plates after every serving. The food was excellent, with tender octopus and chorizo. The drinks were delicious and the staff made the night unforgettable. I have been to a number of Portuguese resteraunts and this was by far the best.

10 out of 10!!! The food was absolutely superb, as was the staff. Family-owned business, so that you can feel the pride and love in the food preparation. Mama is the chef, so you know the food will be amazing!!! A must try. We can't wait to come back to Montreal for another visit!!

Every time we visit Montreal we make sure to stop at Aldea. From the first time to the very recent visit this past week we always felt very at home. A a cozy atmosphere, with excellent food and service! It’s a little piece of Portugal. The owner and family and very welcoming and we always have a great time. Highly recommend and thank you very much for hospitality!

This place is a consistent winner! The food is always fantastic, no matter what I order. What really sets them apart, though, is the service. The staff truly goes the extra mile to make sure you’re taken care of, making every visit feel special. It’s easily one of my favorite spots in town.

Aldea has a bit of everything from Portugal! Real nice environment, Portuguese Fado, Futebol playing in the TV (sometimes Hockey), and food reflects seafood in the core!

Our first time here tonight on a recommendation from a friend. Welcomed and seated quickly. Wonderful table d’hote and very reasonable prices . Delicious. We will be back!
