I've been going to the one downtown for over 25 years and let me tell you, the started cheapening out on the home made hot sauce, used to be very good and they changed it a few months ago, to the point where it is completely tasteless and just hot without any taste, just burning hot, it's orange watered down liquid and looks like Franks hot sauce you would buy at the super market. Bring back the other sauce and stop being cheap with your customers.

We recently got this place recommended and decided to check it out while visiting Montreal from Toronto. It truly exceeded our expectations—the quality, ambiance, service, and variety on the menu were all impressive. As vegetarians, we were blown away by the number of options available. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious, the portions were generous, and the pricing was incredibly reasonable.

Used to have way better tasting food, now it's very bland, they are nowhere near what athletic Mexican food are known for. The food isn't fresh, and the flavors are lacking spices. That being said, this is a convenient spot and has good vibes for a fun night out, but if you're looking for good tasting food, you won't get it.

very flavourful food for decent prices. i especially love the way they cook their rice, it's juicy and deliciously aromatic with tomatoes. great overall restaurant for chicken and rice cravings. the staff is also quite friendly, they were very talkative and joked with us.

We went to 3 Amigos in Montreal as a group of five girls yesterday. The food was great — everything came out hot, fresh, and really tasty. The atmosphere was fun and the restaurant itself has a nice vibe. The only downside was the service from our waiter. He repeatedly called me “sir” even though we were a table of all women. One of my friends politely corrected him, but the interaction afterward felt a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that moment, the experience was good overall and the food definitely delivered. If the service had been a bit more attentive and respectful, it would have been a perfect visit.

Only reason I gave a 2 stars is for the great atmosphere. I used to love this place 5 years ago. First of all, I want to mention the waiter spilled iced water on my 5 year old. Let's just say I wasn't very happy about that....what made it worst, the waiter didn't even try to offer my son something to say sorry. I'm not asking for a free meal!!! Common courtesy!!!At least a juice or wtv....ppl get free meals for a hair in the food. Anyways, that incident might have affected my review. So first star lost is the service! Second is the food quality. It wasn't as good as it used to be and I always order the same thing there. Third is the portion.....I understand the cost has increased and they need to cut.... At least they kept the great atmosphere.

Beef quesadillas were so good and tasty, chicken tacos were good, perfect guacamole, piña colada strawberry my daughter's favorite! The service was very good and fast! Be ready to hear at least 6 happy birthdays playing around!

Very disappointing experience. The man with white hair was extremely rude and unprofessional. His behavior toward customers was disrespectful and unnecessary, which completely ruined the visit.The staff were also unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping. Basic customer service was missing—no politeness, no patience, and no care for customers.A restaurant should be welcoming, but this place felt uncomfortable and poorly managed. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they improve their attitude and train their staff properly.

The staff seemed uninterested and didn’t check on our table once. We had to wave someone down just to ask for water refills. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and customer service.

There was a clear lack of professionalism and customer care.Specially there was an old guy with white hair very disrespectful 🤦🏼‍♂️😓I’m really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, even though it wasn’t that busy. We waited a long time just to place our order, and even longer for the food to arrive. When it finally came, it was barely warm and lacked flavor.

Great food and an amazing ambience! I went on Valentine’s Day and the service was excellent despite it being busy. I had the enchiladas and a margarita both were really good. The music set the perfect vibe, and they even had two fantastic dancers entertaining the guests, which made the whole experience even more fun. Highly recommend!

Im sure everybody knows but Three Amigos is definitely not the spot to try authentic Mexican cuisine. For the price you can most definitely go to Jean-Talon and get much better food. On the bright side, you can reserve big groups people, which many restaurants don’t offer or ask for a fee. The vibe is always fun and lively too. I got the birria tacos and a peach mojito. Birria tacos were okay, although I don’t know why the broth portion was so little. And the peach mojito was a little overpriced but tasted good!

We had a very disappointing experience. Our drinks were not brought on time, and our food was also delayed. The service was poor, and the server seemed unhappy to serve us, which made us feel uncomfortable. On top of that, we felt pressured to leave a tip, which is unacceptable. Overall, the service ruined the experience, and we did not enjoy our visit. WILL NEVER COME BACK

We are long-time customers of this restaurant. The service here is truly excellent, and the food quality is great, but unfortunately, the chef pays no attention to the food; the sides are always stale or cold. Tonight, we ordered 2 steaks. My spouse's meal was completely burnt, both the vegetables and the steak. We informed the waiter, and they replaced the dish, but unfortunately, for the second time, the steak was completely dry and overcooked, even though we ordered it medium! Overall, it seems to me that the chef of this restaurant is wasteful with ingredients and doesn't pay attention to cooking the food properly.
