The food was all right, at least what I had, but not worth that price. What was not all right was the rude waistress. The redhead. Eye-rolling all throughout the night, making an "uggh" face for asking her to take a photograph of us, and ruining them, lens covered by finger, perhaps on purpose. Incredible. I felt embarrassed with the people I was inviting, since I chose that place. At least the other feller was nice. They might have been the only two servers for the entire restaurant that night.

We had an incredible experience at 1855 Steakhouse Prime. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale but still warm and welcoming — the kind of place that feels special without being pretentious. The steak was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, beautifully seasoned, and incredibly tender. You can tell they take real pride in the quality of their meat. The sides were just as impressive — generous portions, rich flavor, and plated with care. Everything felt intentional. Service was top-tier. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely hospitable. The staff made the evening feel smooth and relaxed. If you’re looking for a proper steakhouse experience in Montreal — whether for a date night, business dinner, or celebration — this place absolutely delivers. We’ll definitely be back.

Can I understand the 20$ fees when we’re sharing a plate? Doesn’t make sense. No restaurant has ever charged us for a shared plate… Hostess is very slow and not professionnal.

The restaurant is clean and organized and spacious for circulation of service and wheelchairs. Service was slow because it was a weekday lunch outing. But low traffic is expected that time. It's conveniently part of an outlet so there's enough parking.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I can’t comment on the food since we never got the chance to try it. A few months ago, I came here for my birthday with my boyfriend, and the experience was so bad that we left early and went to Moishes instead (which, honestly, if you’re considering this place, just go to Moishes). The owners’ replies to negative reviews says a lot about how poorly they treat clients and where their values sit. When we arrived, no one came to our table for at least 20 minutes. When the waitress finally showed up, she only took my drink order, ignored my boyfriend entirely, and then walked away mid-order to prepare the drink?? Absolutely bizarre. I waited 10 minutes for her but she was too busy to make her way back to our table. At that point, I told them we were leaving. The waitress then started yelling at me, which was completely insane and honestly shocking. The atmosphere itself is okay, nice enough space but the service is absolutely treacherous and ruined the entire experience.
