Job description

Under the authority of the general management, the Director of Accommodation is responsible for all operations related to accommodation: reception, reservations, billing, housekeeping, and customer service. He/she ensures the profitability of the department, optimizes occupancy, and maintains high-quality standards in customer experience and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Supervise the reception team. Supervise the housekeeper and her maintenance team. Ensure the daily smooth operation of accommodation services. Maintain quality standards in customer service. Manage customer complaints and ensure their satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments for shared clientele (restaurant, Nordic spa, conference center). Recruit, train, and evaluate staff. Plan schedules and ensure optimal workforce management. Adhere to departmental budgets in collaboration with the general manager. Analyze performance indicators (occupancy rate, ADR, RevPAR, LTR). Participate in the implementation of strategies to maximize revenue. Participate in pricing and marketing strategies. Participate in marketing actions to optimize traffic. Ensure competitive monitoring.

Requirements

Degree in Hospitality Management and/or 5 years of experience in hotel management. Experience in team supervision (10 employees and more). Knowledge of Choice Advantage is an asset. Mobilizing leadership and results-oriented. Excellent communication in French and English.
