A new key position is opening at Miel&Co.! We are looking for the rare gem to join the team as the production manager.
Responsibilities
Ensure the canning, food preparation, and labeling of all Miel&Co. products. Adjust and maintain production equipment (labeling machine, pumps, printer). Keep a production log. Ensure compliance with established policies and standards. Ensure product quality. Maintain cleanliness in the production area and the honey house. Responsible for the sanitation program. Implement rigorous procedures to guarantee efficient and optimized production and operations. Responsible for inventory of finished products and raw materials. Place orders for raw materials, containers, and labels. Receive and ship pallets using the forklift and pallet jack. Participate in research and development of honey-based products.
Requirements
Food establishment manager certification - MAPAQ (training provided on-site), minimum one year experience in food processing, knowledge of processing, cooking, and food safety concepts, forklift operation (training provided on-site), autonomy, initiative, priority management, and interest in innovation, proficiency in Office Suite, ability to plan, organize, and mobilize a small team.
