After a grueling day of work, I was in the Sainte-Foy area of ??Quebec City in search of a comforting meal that would keep me going to the conference I was scheduled to attend in the evening. My eyes then crossed this little red awning: ... the pizzeria of the district ... That's it, I found it!
Upon entering, exhausted as I was, I was instantly seized by the music that resounded gently in the speakers of the dining room. No, we did not go with lounge music, or even with the hit list pop of the moment or with a radio station taken at random, but with relaxing musical pieces reminiscent of the sound atmosphere of my classes of yoga. I then restrained myself not to push a "Ahh ..." of satisfaction. How good was it!
Although time was running out, my body felt relaxed. I was in another state. I even took the time to congratulate the restaurant owner for his tasteful musical choice.
At the slate, everything looked attractive, but as I was not very hungry, I decided to take a simple pizza Neapolitan. The order just passed, I was already thinking of the next pizzas that I could order on my second visit. Goat and walnuts or duck confit would certainly be my favor.
The simplicity of the menu really pleased me. We are proud of our specialty and we assume: we go through the door to enjoy a pizza after all, right? Of course, we also offer paninis, burgers or poutines to accommodate the most selective.
Quite simple, my pizza still pleased me with her fresh herbs and her spices. The crust was also delicious and we felt the authenticity of the traditional pizza and its cooking on the stone. However, I realized that I like my pizzas a little more stuffed, I should perhaps have opted for a more consistent pizza finally, because only with the smell that hung in the restaurant, my appetite was open. An other time!
