Ordering fast-food-style tartare, who would have believed it a few years ago? However, fast food has become more sophisticated and the time when we had to choose between pizza or fried chicken is far behind us. Takeout orders are opening up to an array of varieties and Tartar Station is part of the mainstream!

This first branch, located in the famous pyramid of Sainte-Foy, seems to want to make small by offering the concept of franchise. Seduced by the idea of ??quickly putting something healthy in my mouth, I was attracted by the banner. The restaurant offers a fine selection of tartars: beef, salmon, tuna, shrimp as well as tataki. However, it was for the poke bowls that we failed.

Various pokes
Hawaiian for me and Californian for sir! We definitely needed the sun. Upon receiving our generous bowls, I am delighted with how appetizing they look. They are overflowing with vitamins. Well-divided, the toppings consist of fresh pineapple, crispy pasta, julienned carrots, cucumbers, edamame and avocado on a bed of sticky rice. The protein being our choice, I went for the bluefin tuna tataki. Everything was very fresh and the tataki was tasty and well seasoned. I loved. My only downside? The sauce was already poured on the bowl at the time of service, I would have preferred to be left to measure it.

My companion is also delighted by his Californian version bringing together: dried cranberries, apple salad, pineapple, mango, edamame and avocado. Its protein? Grilled salmon. Everything is fresh on his side too, with the exception of the mango whose texture lacked a bit of firmness.

To accompany our vitamin meals, we select a smoothie and a fresh juice!

A great concept to try for a meal in a hurry!
