Located at 61 King Street West in downtown Sherbrooke, next to the Maison du Cinema, the Pizzicato restaurant is a very nice place to eat and drink with friends or alone at lunch or dinner.
In operation for almost 15 years, the restaurant as its name suggests offers an impressive array of thin crust pizza (50 choices available). Pasta dishes and a choice of salads complete the impressive menu.

During our visit, at lunchtime, one of us opted for the daily menu, a soup of rice noodles, pizza calabrese and fresh tomatoes and the other a pasta dish, the Cappelini Alfredo topped with dried tomatoes pesto with tea or coffee to bucle it. Another choice of pizza and salad was offered in the daily lunch menu. Prices range from $ 8.50 to $ 10.50 for lunch.

Both dishes were excellent and very tasty. Acutally the reputation of the restaurant is based on this: all sauces are homemade, a great variety of Italian meat is offered and the chef skilfully use herbs and spices in the preparation of their dishes.

The service is fast and pleasant. A table d'hote menu is available in evenings from Monday to Wednesday. It includes the soup of the day, a plate of pasta or pizza and tea or coffee ($ 14.50). Also very popular, the cinematic, which includes: soup of the day, a choice of dish from the menu of the Month, a glass of wine or beer, tea or coffee and of course a pass for the « Maison du cinema » (25,50$). And for those who wishes to discuss the film after the screening, the kitchen is open until 22:00 from Sunday to Wednesday and 23:00 from Thursday to Saturday ...

Pizzicato, a nice restaurant, where you eat well.
