You love Italian food? I recommend the Pino Restaurant, located at the corner of Montreal and Maisonneuve West Crescent.

You can choose from several pasta dishes and pizza, but that's not all. The restaurant also offers fish and seafood, veal, chicken, lamb and beef. There is also a table d'hote that changes regularly. Personally, I'm partial to the penne Romanoff. These are also the best I've had. In addition, the portions are generous and the pasta dishes are served with fresh parmesan. It is possible to accompany the meal wine by the glass or by the bottle or a beer.

Basically, what attracted me to this restaurant is the large terrace on the second floor. An ideal place to relax and feel disoriented. It is rare to Montreal can enjoy a beautiful terrace where the tables are not all crammed against each other.

One can also opt for a table inside for a little more romance. Again, the tables are spaced far enough apart from each other which allows you to enjoy an intimate moment. The restaurant is quite large.

There are several servers, which does not prevent the service to be slow at times. By cons, employees are courteous and attentive. They are also available to help us solve the problem of tables with legs that move which seems quite common on the terrace.

The restaurant is the perfect place to grab a bite between two films of the Fantasia Festival in summer. It is also located about a dozen minutes walk from the Eaton Centre and the Montreal Megastore (HMV).

I love this restaurant, but disappointed by it against often lack toilet paper on the second floor.

Still, I recommend it especially for couples and friends who want to have a good time over a good plate without breaking the bank.
