You love meat cooked on the grill? A visit to the branch of McMasterville Boeuf Rouge restaurant is a must!

Their food is delicious as are their choices of homemade mayonnaise or sauces to accompany the main course, but allow plenty of time if you want to eat there because the service can be quite long.

I went twice and I lived two different experiences. The first time I went there about two years ago, I had a coupon Tuango. I found the service pretty ordinary really small portions.

When I returned, yesterday I had a different experience. The service was long, but the server was very friendly and the portions were just fine.

Explanation? Either the restaurant has adjusted over time to better meet the expectations of customers or the quality of service and parts is proportional to the price paid. But once is not so customary that first experience does not stop me to recommend this restaurant if you like meat cooked on the grill because both times I've eaten everything was delicious.

Whether you want a filet mignon, a steak, a Tartar, a burger, a fish and chips or a salad meal, you'll find something to suit you at Red Ox.

In addition, it is a BYOB restaurant so you can accompany your delicious meal with a glass of your choice.

One can also choose to sides like fried mushrooms, grilled shrimp or seared scallops. Of course, there is an extra. For a small fee, you can also replace the fries or baked potato with a potato or oven lined or risotto with mushrooms or beets. You can also choose your dish in a table d'hôte.

The desserts are interesting. One finds more conventional, but also own choice at this restaurant like the brownie pie with caramel and pecans.

The decor reflects the name of the restaurant, because we see touches of red everywhere including on the benches. The restaurant is large and one can choose half a bench or a table with chairs. Lights and lighting styles and candles contribute to the atmosphere that is both romantic and friendly.

This is not a family restaurant, but it's a perfect place for a business lunch or dinner with family or friends.

I enjoyed my evening at Rouge Boeuf and I suggest you to eat there at least once.
