Of course, I was not at my first visit to this delicious restaurant in the coquette rue du Sault-Au-Matelot in the Old Port. If you've been following my reviews for a while, you already know that I'm hungry for new stuff and rarely visit the same address twice. Like any rule with its exceptions, it is therefore without having the impression of infringing anything that I installed myself again on the terrace of L'Échaudé.

In summer, the terrace is a perfect place to settle. The constant action around, while tourists in search of good food bend for a moment on the menu displayed nearby, balance very well with the relaxed atmosphere that reigns at the seated guests. Instaurée in a bubble and well accompanied, I happily welcome our server. An ally of choice who proves to be a true advisor as much on the selection of the dishes as on the glasses.

We start the adventure with a sweet and fresh shared entrance: a mix of mesclun, emulsion with red wine vinegar. On top, a tasty and creamy goat cheese relaxes quietly. The evening is already well gone. Then, in resistance, it is the fish of arrival which makes tip our heart to me and my guest. If lovingly described, one could not resist this fresh tuna grasped tataki style. Once in front of me, I know a slight surprise at the sight of the fish, I imagined a little more bright red than brown, but the desire is still at the rendezvous. Without more ways, I attack this buxom plate with fine features. Tuna is a treat with its seasoning just enough salty and delicate. Lying under these pavers, the shrimp look good while the squash spaghetti proves that the match is perfect. The combination presentation, taste and personality wins the palm of the plate that has seduced me for a long time. It is therefore not at all scalded from experience that I leave this intimate terrace with a single desire: come back again and again!
