Tempted by the concept of dairy-restaurant and in order to satisfy the varied tastes of the group I was with, I booked the restaurant La Bourgade located in Thetford Mines.

Upon entering, I was delighted, the decor was warm and the atmosphere pleasant. The presence of woodwork, lights and the large terrace give character and charm to the place.

It is in a large central table that we settled while taking a look around. The second floor surprises with its large stairs: the world, we can accommodate here! The waitress comes to take the order of the drink and I opt for a cocktail "sex on the farm" that makes the assembly laugh. Time passes, customers keep coming and we finally take control of all the people at the table.

As we are in a cheese factory, I decided to taste the burger Bourgade, a fairly classic hamburger, but garnished with cheese from the place with caramelized onions. As an accompaniment, I choose to "poutiner" my french fries. Let's play it all! I still agree to share my generous plate with another guest, so we choose a second dish, lighter this time, the salad Caesar and crispy shrimp.

After a lot of waiting, the dishes finally arrive. It is delicious, it is very good, but general observation: the portions are much too generous. Regarding the ordered dishes, the burger filled the order, but I would have liked to feel a little more cheese that should be the star of the house while it is rather discreet on the menu. The poutine, tasty, but with a cheese remained rather firm. At the level of the salad, the mixture works, the shrimp are crisp, but the crustaceans are rather warm.

When everyone finally abandons the fight against his plate, yet appreciated by all, one undergoes a new time before being served, then before receiving the additions. There have been some errors in the invoices.

All in all, the popularity of the place and the lack of staff have probably hurt my experience since in the plate, the restaurant defends well. Too many choices of dishes can sometimes be unfavorable too, who knows!
