I recently had the chance to spend a day at the spa Eastman. This was my first spa experience in Quebec. Out by 0 ° C, back in water at 38 ° C , out in the cold, re- enter the hot, go to steam , dip legs in the polar bath, go to the sauna, jump into the pool, what a day!

To top it off, I discovered a very healthy and delicious cuisine of Chef Kevin Belisle at an excellent dinner, properly installed in the dining room of the spa overlooking the Mont Orford. A truly perfect day! On the menu this day: various inputs vegetables, shoulder of lamb accompanied with millet, mashed sweet potatoes with ginger and crunchy vegetables.

Finally, I enjoyed a delicious organic yogurt in which I poured absolutely delicious maple syrup. I also tasted the blueberry sauce which is clearly the best I've eaten in my life! Dessert is sacred for me and I was not disappointed!

The spa cuisine is very healthy and tasty. The cook takes care to choose whole grain flours, whole grains and cold-pressed oils for all preparations. The dishes are suitable for many diets: vegetarian, raw food, gluten free, etc.

Spa Finder has also estimated that the Spa Eastman was one of the 10 best in the world and that, thanks to its cuisine. On the blog of the spa, we read that the cooking is done at low temperature convection oven, steamed, braised or dehydrator.

If you have the chance to go to the spa, take the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and simple cooking that does not make us fear the calories!
