More than 350 people are expected for the eighth edition of Operation Chefs which will take place on March 25 at the Chéribourg Hotel in Orford. Several chefs from the region come together to prepare a five-course menu. All proceeds will be donated to Memphremagog Hospital Foundation.

This event has become a traditional meeting place for the citizens of the region who are committed to the development of their hospital and which will improve the living environment of the people who reside in the residential and long-term care center of Magog.

The goal set by the organizers is $ 100,000.

Last year, 365 people were present for the occasion. This year, tickets sold a few weeks ago quickly found takers. It is always possible to get tickets for the evening by visiting their website.

Among the chefs who agreed to participate in the event, let us note the confirmed presence of Éric Beauchesne and Lyne Olivier of Hôtels Villegia, Maryse Boucher of Sushi Shop, Jérôme Castellani of the new Food Processing Center, Francis Cloutier from Auberge de Stanstead, Christophe Dorville from Pâtisserie Chez Dorville, Benjamin Gagné and Cédric Gallant from Enfants Terribles, Jason Kacprzak from Bistro Kapzak and Roland Michon from Roland Michon Chef Traiteur.

It was Alain Roger, from the Table Alain Roger, who organized this event in 2012.
