Just had an amazing experience.All the dishes were actually very good - not a single one disappointed!The food was authentic and delicious, with standout flavors. Service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and welcoming.Big shoutout to Herjas for exceptional service - really made our meal special!Highly recommend ..Will definitely be back for more!

We recently ordered take out from this South Indian restaurant in Montreal with high expectations, and also because I was feeling under the weather and wanted comfort food, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The biggest letdown was the sambar. It had not an atom of dhal in it — it was extremely watery and lacked the rich, comforting texture that authentic sambar should have. The biggest downside, it was extremely oily, with oil visibly floating on the surface. Photos attached.There were barely any vegetables included, except for a few scattered tiny pieces of carrots and onions. For a dish that is meant to be hearty and flavourful, it felt poorly prepared and far from authentic.Overall, the quality did not match what one would expect from a South Indian restaurant. I truly hope they improve the consistency and authenticity of their dishes.The idlis were rubbery, the vadas were crispy though and good sized. The tomato ginger chutney and coconut chutney were good.

"Best restaurant in Montreal. Almost all the dishes are a must-try. 5 stars all the way!.Food is just mouth-watering. especially the paneer tikka masala and onion garlic cheese chilli masala dosa. Great vibe , awesome atmosphere , attentive service.Perfect spot for Indian cuisine . Highly recommended place . Must visit ❤️

Took plain dosa and 3+1 combo (idli and vada)Really good. My favorite was the dosa and coconut chutney. Plain dosa was super crispy which I really loved.As someone with zero spice tolerance, it was a but spicy for me. But overall the food was good.Service was really good, kept checking in once every while if I need anything.4½ stars!

The masal dosa was absolutely delicious but got very disappointed with the aloo parantha. Even though the quantity was over the top but the taste wasn’t at all expected. I was under the impression it would be a proper aloo parantha like other places offer more like homestyle, but this was completely different, it was more like a aloo kulcha instead of parantha. Kirat was a great host and recommended dishes as per my diet so she was very helpful and polite. I hope to visit again soon but hopefully will try other options but not the paranthas.

If you’re looking for South Indian food, don’t come here — they clearly don’t know what they’re doing. The medhu vada was rock hard. The samosa was good, I’ll give them that. Everything else I tried was just edible. I ordered via DoorDash, so I’m not sure if dining in would make any difference.

Had an amazing experience at Vedha. Best spot in Montreal downtown for having an authentic Indian dining experience. Paneer tikka masala is must try. Kirat you are the best!!!
