So we have been eating at various sushi shops for a few years and honestly the ones in gatineau/hull/ le plateau are just going down hill. The ones in aylmer was our go to but the last 3 timea has been garbage so we tried le plateau location and that is lower than the ones you buy at Metro. Spent over 125$ for 50 pieces and my partner through out about 25 pieces. Honestly dropping the whole chain. Im done. Serious waste of money. Feel kinda sick

The poke bowls are pretty small for the price and the cucumbers weren’t very fresh, I got a stomachache after eating at this location.

I went in to order a sushi bowl. There was an old woman yelling at her employee, this poor boy was trying his best and did nothing wrong and she rimmed him in front of everyone, I was shocked and disgusted at her behavior. Then, I go home and I open my food bowl, and I found a dead fly on top of my food, I cannot believe it, I am so disgusted! I've never left a single review at any store on google, but my experience was so gross that I felt compelled to share this. Horrible service from the owner, and contaminated food. Don't go there, my sister has had an issue there as well. Not worth it, go to another restaurant. - Sarah

Worst experience I've ever had. This was my first time ordering from this location, and unfortunately, my order was not prepared correctly. When I called to address the issue, the employee who answered was rude and simply told me that this is how they do it at this location. However, the item is clearly presented on the website exactly as I expected it to be, which makes the situation even more frustrating. The customer service was disappointing, and I will not be ordering from this location again. In contrast, Sushi Shop Vanier is much more professional, and their orders consistently match what is advertised on the website.

They were nice but the place was rundown and it felt expensive for the sushi we got. Wasn't super well rolled and the tea/coffee situation feels sketchy. I know the area isn't spoiled for choice, but I'd avoid this one.
