This isn't your typical Middle Eastern style shawarma; it definitely has more of an Eastern twist to it. The shawarma is good, and I like that you can customize it exactly how you want. Surprisingly, the Philly cheesesteak from here is actually pretty good too! it is not something I would go and try again. the seating inside. It's hard to sit comfortably because the tables are lined up right along the side where everyone stands to queue up and order.

Shawarmaz has honestly become a must-stop for me anytime I’m passing through Montreal on the way to Quebec City. At this point, I’ll make a stop in Montreal specifically just to eat here. Every visit reminds me why this place stands out. The quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, and the flavor in everything they serve are consistently amazing. It’s honestly impressive that even as the restaurant has expanded over the years, the quality has remained just as high. The biggest highlights for me are definitely the shawarma baguette — which is incredibly hard to find in the Greater Toronto Area — and the shawarma poutine. The poutine is absolutely unreal: rich, cheesy, flavorful, and generously loaded with toppings. They definitely do not cheap out on ingredients here. I also tried the flavored beef donair, which was delicious and packed with flavor. Everything tastes fresh, authentic, and made with care. I’ll definitely keep coming back for years to come, and I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Montreal just to visit Shawarmaz again. Huge fan of this place. Thanks to the entire team for the amazing food and consistently great experience!

This place is an absolute must try I highly recommend trying their Sojuk Lamb with their fluffy rice The portion size a lot Had to order it twice because we couldn’t get enough of it SHAWARMAZ Team - I hope you come to Winnipeg!!!!!!

Great delicious food, we tried the magic routine but I forgot to take a before picture. I am posting the after picture. We also had Philly bomb and a chicken shawarma. They were all good and we enjoyed. They are also open late so we went late at night and loved the food. Worker was very helpful and helped us with our food.

We're so sad about this place... it was our go-to for years, 2-3 times a night we would eat there when it was located on Peel. Since the move, the quality went down it's terrible. I'm really disappointed....

Had a great experience at Shawarmaz - Crescent St-Catherine with my wife. The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The place is very clean and neat, with available parking which makes it very convenient. Upstairs seating has a nice downtown view, which really adds to the experience. Staff are polite and friendly, and service was quick. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable meal 🤗
