What guests say about Restaurant Tre Colori inc.

Restaurant Tre Colori Inc. gets very mixed reviews: many customers enjoy the Italian food, generous portions, pizza, and atmosphere, with service often described as attentive and courteous. However, others report high prices, sometimes smaller portions, uneven or slow service, and quality issues with some dishes, especially the pizza and pasta. It is therefore a place that can deliver a good Italian dining experience when everything goes well, but it seems to vary from visit to visit.

My wife and I have been loyal patrons of Restaurant Tre Colori in Chambly for quite some time, often stopping by after a bike ride to share a pizza. However, after what happened yesterday, we will never step foot in that establishment again. When we ordered our usual shared meal, the waitress informed us that we would be charged an additional $10 just for the privilege of splitting a single pizza. When I questioned the reasoning behind this absurd surcharge, she could offer no justification whatsoever. This experience only serves to reinforce my long-standing, deep-seated distrust of the restaurant industry. Having worked in the field myself, I have witnessed firsthand the appalling conditions often hidden away in kitchens, refrigerators, and freezers—sights that have left me with a permanent disdain for the business. I have always viewed many restaurant owners and managers as the absolute worst of society, and this blatant, inexplicable money-grab yesterday at Restaurant Tre Colori inc. felt like the final confirmation of my beliefs. We are officially done with Tre Colori, and quite frankly, this is exactly why I prefer to avoid dining out altogether

Worst restaurant experience ever. Bad food, bad service and bad atmosphere. I had the worst small pizza ever for 30$ in a « Italian » restaurant. If you want to spend too much and not having a good experience you are more than welcome to try it. For me they are trying too much to look fancy and be overpriced but the quality is not there.

I recently visited Tre Colori and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was very good — fresh, tasty, and nicely presented — though it didn’t feel particularly unique or memorable compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. The service was polite and friendly, but it was a bit slow at times, especially during busy moments. Nothing too frustrating, just something that could be improved. Overall, it’s still a solid spot for a nice meal, and I’d definitely consider coming back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I guess regularity and constance is not their strength. Either thick like a bread loaf or tin like a piece of paper. And feeling cheap to request for a thin crust should not be. Deception and not to the level it was. Your local citizen.

Food was great, but the overall service wasn’t great. Took 15mins for someone to come see us and the waitress asked us for our order without asking for drinks first. Forgot to bring our appetizer and just felt like the waitress didn’t care at all

Food was AMAZING! I had seafood pasta and it was mouth watering 🤤 Service was good, we were a group of 14 people and we didn't lack of anything. Very loud in there, that would be my only comment.

This Chambly gem offers a warm, inviting ambiance perfect for any meal. With consistently great food, attentive service, and the convenience of a rear parking lot, it’s a seamless experience. The attached coffee shop is a fantastic bonus for a quick, high-quality espresso on the go.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and this restaurant has never lost its charm. The food is exceptional, rich in flavor and beautifully prepared. The service is consistently excellent, warm, and attentive. It’s rare to find a place that maintains such quality over time, and this one truly stands out.

Tre Colori – The Definition of "Fine, I Guess" If you’ve ever sat in a restaurant and thought, “I could have probably done this in my pajamas with a microwave and a dream,” then Tre Colori is the spot for you. It’s not a disaster, but it’s certainly not a destination. The Bread & Appetizers We started with the classic "Midsize Italian Restaurant" starter kit: that heavy, frozen loaf that’s been nuked until it’s hot enough to melt lead but remains entirely tasteless. It’s the kind of bread that sits in your stomach like a brick for the rest of the night. The "Buffalo" Caprese: They claimed it was Buffalo mozzarella. My taste buds—and anyone who has ever been to a Metro grocery store—would disagree. It had all the hallmarks of a Saputo plastic tub special. The Meatballs: These were "homemade" in the sense that they were made by a human who seemingly has a personal vendetta against spices. Decent size, sure, but they clearly skipped the Parmesan or Romano in the mix. It was just... round meat. The Calamari: Surprisingly, the highlight of the starters. It wasn't too oily. It didn't change my life, but it didn't ruin my night either. The Main Event I went for the Veal Parmesan with Spaghetti Meat Sauce. The veal was actually quite tender, which was a pleasant shock to the system. However, the spaghetti meat sauce was a bit of a tragic affair—very watery and "meat-adjacent" at best. I spent most of the course hunting for the actual beef in the sauce. It was less of a meal and more of a soup with noodles. The Verdict The one true standout was our waitress. She was genuinely very nice and likely the only thing keeping the place afloat. Will I go back? Probably not. It’s the kind of place you go to once, shrug your shoulders, and then forget exists by the time you hit the parking lot.

Tasteless oily food.....We were a small group, while the restaurant was not busy, the only waitress was unatentive very busy doing something else. Ordered calamar, got very oily and elastic.... yakiii. Then the main dish haddock/sole fish came very oily, no taste, with the accompanying pasta/pesto, again very very oily tasteless....following we had infernal indigestion, quite pricy $$$$ for the terrible food. This restaurant has to get rid of the chef ASAP....pity the restaurant setting is gorgeous....for an italian restaurant it should enhance this pricy tastless food !!!!!
