We celebrated our daughter’s baptism with breakfast at CDI, and Carol and the entire staff truly went above and beyond. We were a group of about 20 guests, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Everything was absolutely delicious. A few weeks prior, we had gone for breakfast to try the restaurant, and Carol personally came out to every table asking guests how they enjoyed their food and interacting with everyone. It immediately felt like such a warm and welcoming place. On the day of our celebration, Carol surprised us by beautifully decorating our table, something we absolutely did not expect and that touched us so much. You can genuinely feel the love and care that goes into this restaurant. It’s rare to find a place that treats its customers with such kindness and attention to detail. It truly is a very special place. Thank you for making such an important day even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Great hospitality and service from the staff and owner in a relaxed atmosphere. I really enjoyed the unique twist on traditional breakfast fair; eggs benedict on plantains with fried pork was delicious. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the rest of the menu.

Great experience! We were a group of 12 celebrating a loved ones birthday and the staff added to how special the experience was! The servers sang happy birthday while bringing out a cake we brought. The chef/owner joined in and sang to the celebrant. It’s also kid friendly and staff were very warm towards the children/babies in our group. The care received brought the experience to a 5! Everyone enjoyed their food, there were minor differences in preference, but overall it was good and worth visiting again. Also pricing is reasonable for the quantity compared to other breakfast places

Food was delicious and affordable, but the service was literally the best thing ever. First of all, they were able to accommodate our large group even though we hadn't reserved (thankfully lol!!). The chef came out to ask us personally if everything was to our liking (which it absolutely was, she is such a talented cook). Towards the end, I had left my food unattended though, and one of the waitresses didn't know I wanted to take it to-go— something which was totally my fault, and she threw it out. Not a big problem, as I should have been at my seat to let her know, but they literally took it upon themselves to remake my entire meal so I could have it to-go. I cannot believe how kind that was, especially since the misunderstanding was totally on me! If you're looking for some amazing breakfast food and even better service, please come here!

The service wasn’t great. We waited a long time just to place our order and had to keep trying to get someone’s attention. When our food arrived, some items were missing. The menu was also misleading. It advertised blueberry pancakes, but we were served crepes with the blueberries tucked underneath. Overall, it didn’t meet expectations.

The food was delicious, the place was delightful. Me and my family LOVED it, the service was nice, and they would take time and come to us if we had slightest problem in no time. They were also nice coming to talk to us all the time. We thank them.

Lovely brunch place! The plates are plentiful and everything made from scratch, very flavorful, the fruit were really ripe and delicious!! We will definitely be back!! Decor and atmosphere is lovely, service good!

I do not care if the food is good or bad this service is awful. You wait over 2 hours for your food and then they tell you they just started prepping.

Shame on me for not knowing about this new found gem sooner! I am the biggest brunch fan I know. I could start every one of my days with a brunch. I hunt down restaurants in New York, New Jersey and Montreal for the best brunch menus, and Caro Resto (CDI) greatly satisfied my hunger. The food was delicious and Carol the owner, made it a point to approach every table. When she got to ours she simply was making sure everything was to our liking, and that service was impeccable. I was astounded and thought I have finally found my spot in the West Island, and I am also so proud to support a local proprietor. I will be back!

Restaurant. The food is absolutely excellent, and ever since I discovered this place, I honestly can’t eat breakfast anywhere else. I’ve already been there four times in one month, even though I live in Laval… and that says a lot! The service is impeccable, but what truly makes this restaurant special is the owner herself. She personally comes to every table to introduce herself and make sure everything was perfect. Hearing her story was very touching, she explains that she works alone by choice, because it’s important to her that every meal is prepared with love, patience, and the exact taste she is aiming for. She would love to find another cook one day, but only someone who shares the same passion she pours into her cooking. You can truly feel the care and passion in every dish. CDI is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience, and I will definitely keep coming back.

This place is exceptional service and food was Out of this world !!! Everything was phenomenal. Thank you soo much for such quality food and service ! The waitress and owner kept checking to ensure everything was good despite there being no issues. My food was a great portion for value and Tastyyyy ! Could tell had been seasoned overnight I didn’t eat for rest of the day and no complaints from the people I was with. Everyone ate well, some even bought a second plate to go ! Now I understand why my mother wants to go every week , Will be back soon guarantee

We visited Restaurant CDI for breakfast on Sunday morning, and overall had a really pleasant experience. I’m vegan and my wife is not, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. Coffee was always topped up, which is always appreciated. They even offer oat milk, which is a big plus if you’re vegan or avoiding dairy. While there isn’t currently a dedicated vegan breakfast on the menu, our server went out of her way to help and brought over the owner, Marie-Carole. She was incredibly kind and took the time to put together a custom vegan breakfast for me with sautéed vegetables, fresh fruit, breakfast potatoes, homemade baked beans, and rye bread without butter. Everything was tasty, thoughtful, and satisfying. My wife also really enjoyed her breakfast. Great service, welcoming atmosphere, and a place that clearly cares about its guests.

Wonderful local restaurant in the West Island, food is delicious and the service is exceptional!! The restaurant is quite spacious but yet very cozy. The owner takes pride in all she cooks and is quite evident as she herself makes rounds and checks in with her customers! They even brought out a little surprise for my husband's birthday at the end. The whole staff participated which was incredibly thoughtful and super sweet! Thank you to all the team for having us and treating us with the upmost care!
