I rarely write reviews, but Abu El Zulof deserves every word of praise. From the moment you step in, the vibe is nothing short of outstanding—sophisticated, high-end, and buzzing with positive energy. The weekend event night is particularly marvelous; it transforms an already exceptional meal into a celebration. The food? Simply unparalleled. The cold mezza alone sets a new standard—especially the muhammara, which is rich, nutty, and perfectly spiced. The fried kibbeh is a revelation: crispy outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. And the house-made bread? Warm, fragrant, and absolutely addictive. Every main dish I tried was flawless—refined, balanced, and tasting of top-tier craftsmanship. Even with a full house, the service team remained amazing—attentive, warm, and professional. That level of care when every table is occupied speaks volumes. If you’re looking for a five-star culinary journey that feels both inspiring and genuinely memorable, Abu El Zulof is the destination. I’ll be back—and I suggest you book your weekend night soon.

The food is to die for! The service is excellent! The ambulance is so warm and cozy!! This restaurant is highly recommended!!!!! Thank you so much. Abu Elzulof team for this experience that is out of this world!!!!
Everything was delicious. Ordered several plates and shared family style.
My partner and I came here during a layover and were so impressed with the service, authenticity and flavor. Our server Ala was very welcoming. Portion sizes are huge!
Ola thank youuu so much for your amazing service You were amazing I really enjoyed my stay and the food
It's quite confusing the high rating of this restaurant. I went with the entire family (old and young) and I must say that the service was terrible. We were one of only 3 customer tables and the appetizers took over 20 minutes to arrive. We also ordered the mix grill which was another disappointment - charred chicken and meat with a strange after taste - and filet Mignon that was either rare or well done all in the same platter. I came here 3 years ago and it was the same subpar quality and food - but I figured it's OK they weren't open long. Yet here we are 3 years after, same subpar service and food, only a nice decor. Never coming back again.
We love coming here whenever we are in Montreal. The food, the service and the atmosphere are excellent. Ola, our server was very pleasant and she made sure to have the kitchen make us Katayef even though they only serve those for Iftar. Abu El Zulof is the next best thing to my mom’s cooking.
Very good food and good price . I recommend :)
I highly recommend this restaurant ,the food was very delicious and the prices are reasonable
The design of the place is outdated not my preference and the service wasn’t that good. 1 server will be working for all the table so things will take a minute when I was there. The food is really good
We visited this place about a year ago and had a great experience, which is why we decided to come back yesterday with a friend who was visiting. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely disappointing. In total we waited about two hours. My friends arrived an hour before me and were told it would be “a few minutes.” When I arrived and we asked again, we were told “three minutes,” but those three minutes turned into about forty minutes. During the last 20 minutes we saw two tables become available, yet people who were behind us in line were seated first, and some guests were even allowed to skip the line. The hallway was packed with around 25 people waiting, and the whole situation was very disorganized. If the wait is long, it would be much better to create a waiting list and tell guests approximately how long they need to wait. In the end we left after two hours and went to Kenzo, where we actually had a great evening. Unfortunately, this experience completely ruined our plans to spend the evening here.
It was a very nice place. The food was delicious. I will go again.
Good ambiance and oriental syrian vibes with good music playing on oud wirh the great Nazih bourish, the food is good, nice presentation.
We had such an amazing evening, we ordered the set menu for iftar the food was delicious and our waitress Oula was very sweet and professional she ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.
I am on a business trip, from Vancouver. Did not know the restaurant closes at 7 pm, Rahman was gracious enough to serve me for my iftar (breaking of fast). It was a sumptuous dinner, staring with a date to salad to the main course. Nine delicious items. I will visit them for yet another break of fast in a couple of days. I wish they open a location in Vancouver.
Great food, exceptional service from the team, Ola was friendly and made us feel comfortable and at home. Will definitely be back!
place is very nice and the server faten is really good!!!!!
Elias and wared were so nice and helpful and the food was amazing
Stylish Levanti vibes, cozy environment, excellent service, generous proportion. Price with this size of proportion could be fair. Finally I am able to try Booza, really with great subtle scent while mixed with rich flavor of everything, including Halva. Lentils soup is enough for 2 people, yellow lentils, but not that creamy( compared to the Turkish yellow one). Shish Tawk is dry and lean like what I prefer. Fatoush salad is light in salt while rich in sour taste with mélasee I guess. Service is friendly and efficient, they are really nice and sweet, we shared interest chats. Friday evening there will be concert but it needs reservations in advance and extra payments for enjoying the music, Saturday night there will be belly dancer around.
Best sevice, atmosphere, ambiance, food, everything was perfect, thank you abu zulof for such an amazing experience ❤️
Ola was amazing and attentive. The food was amazing as always. The fatoush salad and batersh (?) was delicious. 10/10
I’ve been here twice now. I love this place the food is superb. Our server Ola was great!
Great place to share mezza plates and mains with friends or family.
Too loud music and on google it says they close at 1 am but when they saw us visible Muslims with a Hijab they denied us service and said they are closed at 11:40 pm?? so they closed an hour and 20 mins before the time they listed on google. Which is weird because the waitress was just serving people when she told us they are closed. I dont recommend muslims to go there.
Wonderful experience, food was so delicious the service very friendly Olla was great
