I went to this place last night. From the very beginning, my visit was a disaster. I had some questions about the fish and chips and received rude comments in return. Okay, let's try the food. The lady told me there was garlic in my choice of fish, could have fooled me. ALL of the condiments were clearly bought from a grocery store. You're telling me it's too expensive to buy ketchup or vinegar bottles? How about making the tartar sauce in house instead of being lazy? The fish was cooked properly, thank God. The fries were the most egregious part of this whole experience though. I understand that many places in Canada opt to do smaller fries over chips, in my opinion that is fine. However, even from the pictures you can clearly tell that these fries were also store bought McCain fries. That means FROZEN FRIES. Seriously? I literally couldn't finish the fries cause it started tasting like sawdust. This whole experience was a disgrace to my culture, I'm embarrassed that the people here think this is acceptable, or even good.
