recently tried Monteiro and honestly it did not disappoint. I had the Tex-Mex bowl and a poutine, and both were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh and well made, and the flavors were on point. What really stood out were the sauces they were next level and brought everything together perfectly. You can tell they actually put effort into the food here. Definitely coming back and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for something really good to eat.

Good halal Portuguese fast food. Only go there for their Monteiro sandwich or XL Monteiro poutine. I call them in advance so it's ready when I come to dine in or take out! Amazing service Update: They went from the aluminum take-out plate to the paper bowl

We tried to go to La Banquise but it had a long line, almost next to it we found this restaurant and their poutine was pretty good!

Whose idea was it to serve their 1/2 chicken in a bowl? Salad was buried underneath the hot chicken. Soggy salad. Messy eating experience trying to access the rice and fries buried underneath the chicken. Disappointing experience today eating my favourite Portuguese chicken.

Good food, plenty of seating, and friendly staff! Their use of charcoal gives a good flavor that's hard to find at other restaurants.
