Went here to support a local restaurant during the "Fleury gourmande" event. This is a casual dining neighborhood place that serves simple hearty dishes, in a relaxed atmosphere. We appreciated our meal however we felt like each dish would have benefited from that extra touch for it to be amazing. The lamb was generous and tender, and the sauce was nice, but it lacked that bit of bright acidic herby flavor (like gremolata) to cut the richness. The salmon tartare with cucumber and avocado was fresh and crisp but marinating the salmon longer and adding a few capers and finely minced shallots would have made all the difference. Serving the soup and tartare with overly stale, brittle baguette slices is a misstep. This place is great for meet-ups with close friends, lunch with a work mate, dinner with parents or when you don’t feel like cooking. Loved the low lighting, the soft music, the charming staff and the overall coziness of the place. I would definitely come back for drinks, a coffee and a small bite. A great place for brunch as well.
