Had my first Poutine, was fabulous. The atmosphere was electric. Our young waiter was so friendly and happy. If this is normal for people from Quebec, I'd love to live here. I'll definitely be back. What a beautiful place.

Horrible experience at this restaurant. We were charged for a salmon bagel and a mimosa that we never ordered or ate. When I asked to have them removed from the bill, the owner screamed at me and even tried to grab me. After that, her boyfriend came running out of the kitchen and wanted to fight me. Truly a terrible experience. Even employees told us she was crazy….

We were told this was the spot to go for proper French cuisine and it absolutely delivered. Every dish felt hearty, rich, and genuinely satisfying. The foie gras torchon was silky perfection, the duck poutine was indulgent in the best way, and the beef cheek was melt-in-your-mouth good. On top of that, the service stood out, our waitress communicated everything clearly and made the whole experience feel effortless. Bonus discovery: a fantastic Italian wine, Primizia, that we’ll definitely be thinking about again.

My friend and I had breakfast at The Le QG this morning, and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered an omelet that was not only huge but incredibly delicious, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It came with perfectly cooked potatoes and homemade bread that was truly to die for. We also tried the ham and cheese croissant, and it did not disappoint—the ham was real, fresh, and packed with flavor, making every bite amazing. Everything about our experience was top-notch, from the quality of the food to the portions. We would definitely recommend The Le QG and will be coming back again and again!

This place used to serve amazing food. However, that's not the case anymore. We were a aparty of 8 and ordered filet mignon, short rib, pork ribs, mushroom risotto, ravioli. Everything was awful and that's after nearly a 2 hour wait after sitting down. The servers knew it too and continued to apologize for it. Will not be coming back here.

There were so many great looking items on the menu, I could have gone there 3 times this week. Escargot portion was substantial and tasty. Split a large serving of muscles, and enjoyed the Lamb, although I had to take home most of it. Great Seevice and food. Best restaurant in the village.

Not a ton of seating but such a treasure. I tried put in for the first time here. The lamb and the mussels are really good too. The waiter guy was funny and super helpful.

Our visit was a major let-down from start to finish. Despite booking in advance for a family birthday, we were seated at two separate tables, which immediately set the wrong tone. When we asked if this could be corrected so we could sit together, we were told it wasn’t an option. The situation worsened when we realised our table was next to a damaged window, letting in a freezing draft. We raised this with staff and were told the issue was already known, couldn’t be fixed, and that we should just order quickly and put up with it. This response was dismissive and unacceptable. Service throughout was poor. The waitress was unfriendly and unwilling to help, and even our drinks took a long time to arrive — and were wrong when they did. At that point, we decided not to order food at all. What should have been an enjoyable family celebration ended up being uncomfortable and frustrating, and it completely spoiled the occasion.

My daughter and I were sick all night and day after as we catch food poisoning. We ate bison, salmon tartar, mussels, frog legs and fish. Already a kind of expensive place and totally lost my lift tickets for the day.

So we read the reviews ahead of going to this place and we're prepared for a long wait for dinner. When we arrived, we noted that the restaurant was not very busy. There's a lot of smoke coming off the grill. Enough to make your eyes water but it wasn't as bad upstairs. That said, all of our clothes smell as a result. The menu is interesting and varied. The dishes that were served were pretty good but I would not say outstanding. There's an extra charge for bread which is unfortunate because it probably would have helped with long wait. Our server was kind and patient, but it did appear that she was strained by the long waits from the kitchen. A lot of the guests were complaining about how long it was taking. I understand when you have a scratch kitchen that I can take a while to prepare food but it took an hour and a half for our meals to be served and to me that's excessive. There are plenty of options within the village. If you're looking for a quiet evening and a long leisurely dinner, this might be a good fit. I would suggest ordering the bread service at the beginning of your meal so you at least have something to munch on while waiting.

Disappointing, we were a large group celebrating a special event that was ruined by an unaccommodating and rude service. We ended up leaving early and eating at a restaurant across the way with much better service. We were eventually given a reluctant 50% off our drinks only order when asked to see the manager.

Highly disappointed with the service that we received. We booked a table in advance for a family birthday celebration. Firstly, we were split across 2 different tables which wasn't ideal. When we asked if we could move to sit all together, we were told it wasn't possible. Our table was also placed by a broken window. We all got really cold as there was an icy draft coming through. We asked about the window and we're told that they have had someone look at it but it couldn't be fixed, we would have to just deal with it and order quickly which is quite frankly unacceptable. Our waitress was rude, unhelpful, and unaccomodating. We didn't even bother to order food as our experience up until receiving our drinks order (which took long and was incorrect) was not pleasant. Our experience here really ruined the mood for our family celebration.
