I went to this Indian restaurant last week and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Every single dish we ordered tasted terrible. The food had no proper flavor and did not taste fresh. It honestly felt like nobody there knew how to cook Indian food, or the real chefs were not working that day. What is even worse is that they offer a 15% discount if customers write a review. This clearly encourages people to leave good reviews just to save money, not because the food is good. That is misleading and very dishonest. New customers trust those reviews and end up wasting their money like we did. I do not like to hurt businesses, but people deserve to know the truth. Please focus on improving your food and be honest with your customers. Right now, the quality is very poor and the experience was extremely disappointing.

Only took pictures at the end of my meal. This place very good! The food was delish, had butter chicken and spicy garlic naan. I didn’t like the drink I ordered so they replaced it for free :) Great service and attention to detail and comfort. Waiter gave me a amuse guelle and a free sample of their very good desert! Recommend this place :) Will go back!

A truly refined dining experience. From the elegant street food–inspired appetizers to the impeccably crafted dishes, every detail reflects sophistication and authenticity. The cuisine is beautifully balanced, fresh, and thoughtfully curated by the chef, complemented by warm and knowledgeable service. The meal concluded perfectly with a delicate lemon ginger tea. A remarkable culinary destination we look forward to revisiting.

I recently visited Indian House and honestly had a really nice experience. The place has a warm, comfortable vibe and the staff were polite and welcoming from the start, which made us feel relaxed right away. We ordered a few appetizers and main dishes, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The spices were well balanced — not too heavy, not too mild — just right. The chicken starters were especially good, crispy and properly seasoned. You can tell the food is made with care and served hot. Service was quick, and the staff checked in just enough without being overbearing. Portion sizes were decent for the price, and overall it felt like good value for money. It’s the kind of place I’d go back to when I’m craving proper Indian food. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

Welcome to flavour town!! We came in on a Saturday night right before close and the food was so fresh. They were so tender to us and the waitress was very easy to talk to. They were even so kind as to offer their uber driver a free drink! This is a restaurant I will gladly support. We were given a little taste test for the tandoori dumplings and were left mesmerized. After that we ordered the twin samosas and they were just impeccable. We shared the Murgh Malai Kebab also perfect (genuinely no flaws). Next up we had the chicken biryani and the Chicken Tikka Massala, it just couldn’t physically get any better! Their staff was amazing checking up us and I can safely say this is the BEST restaurant in West Island!!

We had a wonderful experience at Maison Indienne restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service truly stood out everyone was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. A special mention to Akash, who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He was polite, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. His service made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for great food and warm hospitality. We will definitely be coming back! 😊

The food is absolutely terrific. Probably over ordered because their menu selection was huge. Everything was tasty and generous in portion size. The butter chicken burrito was enormous and well prepared. Will definitely be coming back.

With so many indian restaurants in westisland they stand unique with their menu options and taste. Made a good choice to eat there. Place is clean and service is excellent non Indian waiter catched up all Indian items correctly for us a big group of 12 people

This review was a long time coming. Honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Ordered a variety of dishes that were all spectacular; we started off with a creamy paneer bhurji with some buns, continued with a classic butter and chicken vindaloo with garlic naan, and ended off with some halwa puri and kheer, gulping it all down a warm cup of karak Chai. Both chefs responsible for these incredible dishes are bringing back Indian cuisine in a way that I have not seen done before, and I am so excited to go back and try a myriad of their dishes moving forward. A lot of love, thought and care goes into their dishes, with around 15 dollars per person. The quantities are large, and for me, the biggest win was the fact it all tasted fresh and authentic. O M G. What a discovery. We had an impromptu night without the kids decided to "go out". I stumbled across Indian House on google maps and decided to give it a try. Our gamble paid off big time and we ended up staying for hours. Ajay and his staff were just out of this world. We could not help overhearing the comments from the other tables - everyone was impressed and so were we. Somehow it became weird to talk to people you don't know in public places, but friendships were formed tonight and it was all fueled by an incredible menu and atmosphere that you can just tell comes from the heart. We spent the last 30 minutes just planning out what we were going to order on our next visit. Highly recommended.

Amazing first experience at this restaurant. Every plate is a wonderful trip to traditional Indian cuisine with an elegant touch. The Chef even came to take our comments at the end of the meal. Good portion, fair price and very high quality. Next time, I will ask the waiter to explore even more dishes. A true gem to be discovered! Will go back for sure.
