As of the 5th of April 4:30 PM, girl at the counter for deliveries, as soon as she sees me coming in from the distance, she slides out of the view (while looking at me) into the kitchen. I know that behavior. Shying away from work, not wanting to deal with some pressure. I understand because I was like that younger (and I look intimidating I guess), but how is it that she got hired? These kind of employees explains the extreme slowness at this specific St Hubert as well as other restaurants with similar employees. Know well that this complaint I have today is the same I had the other times I had to come get deliveries there. Next time I see St-Hubert, I decline the gig. In fact, this last crappy gig was part of a multi delivery run. If I had known in advance, I would have refused 🙃 I know that during busy hours, the staff will prioritize the in-store customers, which is understandable. When that happened in another restaurant, at least the worker had the decency to communicate this fact. At St-Hubert? Just go and hide in the back, responsibilities out the eindow. "we lately have had a lot of customers" is the easy and cheap excuse. All this mentioned as a Uber delivery guy, I haven't mentioned yet the slowness and missing items as a customer ordering at this restaurant via delivery apps. This St-Hubert looks good in apparence, but is poor in quality and especially performance. Just a good looking facade. Easy solution, just don't be accessible via delivery apps, and focus on your in-store customers. Reviews from in-store customers are positive. Other reviews related to delivery apps, no much. See the pattern? Also, upgrade some of your staff. Hustlers rather than kiddos is the way to go.
