Rachel was absolutely amazing!! Suggesting delicious options. The blueberry, lemon ricotta pancakes were out of this world. Rachel provided us with a friendly and warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back because of her :)

Wow. I travel for a living (over 40 years now) and am always looking for a great breakfast place. As an airline crew member, I spent some time in downtown Montreal and stumbled upon Eggspectation. The photo says it all. The portion size is ridiculously large. The food was spectacular and, given the portion size, a really great value. Rubel, the server, was very attentive and helpful. What more could one ask for? If you’re looking for a great breakfast and excellent service, give this place your business. I’ll definitely be back! 🙌🏼

Our waiter Ranjan is the greatest. Funny, timely, and took a selfie with us. Food was incredible but the service really made this experience!

Never expierenced a breakfast place that coffee is not included.. I inderstand if you want a latte or other, but a simple perked coffee!!And the place really needs a face lift and the prices are way high for a place like that.. Floors awful and it feels dirty… too bad… everything you order is a side, so your bill is pretty pricey for eggs!!!

Party of 8, was served our food but no cutlery, ordered and received our coffee but no sugar or coffee creamers. Good luck trying to get a hold of your waiter, when our coffee was finally refilled it was already time to pay for the food. Speaking of which, the food was very filling, delicious and served on large plates, everything else that should go with it was served late or you had to ask for it.

I spent a week in Montréal visiting friends and one day I took a friend to eat here. Upon entering we were welcomed and assigned a table near the window. Out waiter Emmanuel(I think his name was Emmanuel I lost the receipt unfortunately with his name on it) was nice and courteous. The menu was extensive so I took a bit of time to order. Thats when the manager came over and said "troubles reading? They'll be a reading test in a bit" we were both confused as Ive spoken and read French for over 25 years yet he came making the joke in which we both replied with a nervous laugh. The food was a bit pricey for the quality but I was very hungry so I didnt mind too much. I noticed they had a wall with currency bills of diffrent countries, I traveled to Argentina the next day after this happened and had Argentinian pesos on me. I returned maybe 45 minutes later and they must of forgotten I was just there that day(which is fine) because the reception I received was very diffrent. I came to gift them a 1000 peso bill from Argentina as they had 100,200 and 500 pesos from Argentina on the wall but not 1000 so I figured why not give them a bill to put up on the wall. I said this is for you guys to put up on your wall with the other bills. The manager looked at me funny as if I was trying to scam them, looked at the bill that clearly said "republica de Argentina" on it and said "I dont know what this is" I replied "it clearly says Argentina on there, do you want it for your wall?" He said no and shooed me out of the restaurant. A very bizarre and uncomfortable experience, ill definitely be steering away from this place next time im in Montréal. The waiter was nice but aside from that the whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth and super uncomfortable as if I was doing something wrong for trying to gift them a 1000 peso bill(which is like $1 CAD)
