I had a great experience at Desi Grillades. The food was very fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The grilled items were especially delicious with authentic desi spices that reminded me of home. The portions were generous and the presentation was nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick. The restaurant also has a clean and comfortable atmosphere, which makes it a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Overall, a great spot if you’re craving tasty desi-style grilled food. I would definitely recommend it and will be visiting again!

About a year ago, while driving back from Charlevoix to Ottawa, we stopped at Desi Grillades completely unplanned. It was a random pick — honestly, the only option we could find along the way — and we walked in with very modest expectations, assuming it would be simple bowl‑style food just to get us through the journey. What followed was nothing short of a surprise delight. We were welcomed by an extremely warm, friendly, and attentive staff, who instantly made us feel comfortable after a long drive. On top of that, we met an incredible chef who didn’t just take our order but truly listened to us. The dishes were fully customized to our preferences, with attention to even the smallest details. A salad that wasn’t on the menu was prepared just for us, and when we requested kid‑friendly food — also not listed — the chef happily accommodated without hesitation. That level of care instantly tells you this isn’t just about running a business; it’s about making people happy through food. Chef Mr. Mohammed, who has over 15 years of experience (and comes from a family of chefs — it’s clearly in his blood), poured his passion into every plate. The food had the perfect texture, balanced flavors, generous portions, and unmistakable quality. After days of travel and searching for good food, this place felt like finding rain in the desert. A special mention goes to the chicken curry — if you love bold, spicy flavors, this is an absolute must‑try. Even today, we still remember its taste so vividly that it brought us back to this experience and reminded me of a promise I made to the chef — to leave this review. Life got busy, the review got delayed, but the memory (and the flavor) never faded. This post is finally me keeping that promise. If you ever find yourself near Daisy Grill Eats, don’t think twice. Between the kind staff, passionate chef, and outstanding food, you’re not just getting a meal — you’re getting heart, hospitality, and an experience made with genuine care. Had the worst experience ever. First of all, it’s not an Indian restaurant. Very unhygienic, disgusting smell. We had to wait for an hour and half to get food. They kept serving people who ordered after us, mixed up with the orders. Doesn’t clean the tables, throws the cutlery on the table, the washroom is still a nightmare to me. The lady there doesn’t seem to have any manners or respect towards customers. The grilled chicken tastes good, but the rice and salad sides with it are horrible. Biryani is a total failure. Never ever going back!!!!!!! Edit: This is the reply to the owner’s comment Please show this energy to improve the quality of food and service. I value my time, an hour and half waiting time is too much. There wasn’t any proper communication about it. All what you kept saying is “Food is coming”. Also, stop assuming the nationality of your customers. I’m anyways not from Bangladesh and have no hate towards any South Asians.

We visited Desi Grillades on a special occasion, but the experience was not up to the mark. I tried the chicken biriyani. The portion size was good, but the taste was just okay. The service was really chaotic — long wait time and no proper communication about it, cutlery carelessly thrown on the table, orders being delivered to the wrong table, and no proper care or attention to the customers. This affected the whole experience. The service needs to be improved, along with cleanliness. There were tables around us that weren’t cleaned for more than 20–30 minutes. I also wish the servers smiled and interacted a little more politely with the customers.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious—we were pleasantly surprised to enjoy such tasty food in Quebec. The staff served us with great kindness and made us feel very welcome. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Chicken karahi Dal tadka Paneer tikka masala Gralic naan were so good.
