This used to be one of the Turkish restaurants I visited in Montreal, but after my recent experiences, I will not be returning. When I walked in, the staff didn’t even acknowledge me — they were busy on their phones. That alone shows a serious lack of professionalism and basic respect for customers. In particular, one female employee has been consistently rude and disengaged during my last three visits. There was no greeting, no courtesy, and no effort to provide decent service. She gives the clear impression that serving customers is a burden. This attitude is completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. When it was time to pay, I was asked whether I would pay by card or cash. I asked for the total amount first so I could check my budget and decide. Instead of answering, I was asked again, “card or cash?” Ignoring a simple question and repeating the same one is dismissive and disrespectful. It made me feel belittled as a customer. Before this employee, there was another lady working there who was always friendly, smiling, and genuinely welcoming. Every time she served me, I gladly tipped at least $10 because her attitude deserved it. If you have the option, I strongly suggest bringing her back. She was warm and professional — the complete opposite of the current employee, who comes across as irritated, cold, and disrespectful. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Service quality matters, and without improvement, losing customers will be inevitable. And have a nice day .
