Café des Habitudes is a charming and cozy vegan café located just north of the Mile Ex and rosemont neighborhoods in Montreal. You can street park for 60min for free. The space itself is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. There are plenty of seating options, including couches, tables, and cozy corners that make it a great place to relax or get some work done. One of the standout features is a loft-style nook with cushions where you can climb up, unwind, read, or work in a quiet setting. There is also a side door that opens onto a small patio with a few outdoor tables, perfect for enjoying fresh air on a nice day. One unique aspect of the café is that guests are asked to remove their shoes upon entering, which adds to the comfortable and home-like atmosphere. In addition to food and drinks, they also sell a variety of items in-store, giving the space a subtle boutique feel. The service was friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Café des Habitudes is a wonderful spot for quality pastries, good coffee or tea, and a calm, cozy environment. They only have vegan options for milk

Overrated. The coffee is acidic; the “milk” used is low quality; super basic and greenwashed establishment; try cafe Larue if you are in the area and you don’t want to feel like a poser, lol

Lovely seasonal and local food, good portions, great coffee, practices zero waste. The place feels very welcoming, it feels like home and it has a space for children too. More than just a cafe, a space for community and sustainability.
