Very cute, love all the cats around. I would literally die for Gustave. The food was also great and so was staff. My only complaint is that food did take quite awhile, as well as drinks, but they tasted great and it was also very busy.
Very cute cat café!
Very mediocre. Only like 4 cats there and about 20 people so the ratio was way off. The cafe itself was also kinda dirty, didn’t feel clean or like a nice place to sit. The teapot we had was stained and chipped. Couches, floors and most other furniture were pretty worn out and ragged looking. Cats were also climbing up on tables eating peoples food. I think this is just not a great system for a cat cafe. Catoro Cafe in Vancouver does this properly.
more kids then cats.. wish it was a bit more cozy less resto more cafe. Maybe just came at a bad time will try again
Not much cats, it was disapointing on that side, but there was still cats and we loved it. My kids was thrilled
Great cafe for cat lovers. The kitties are so cute and friendly. There's alot of seating and play space. The only thing I'd mention is that alot of kids come here so it can be loud so keep that in mind if you plan to study.
Great experience interacting with the cats🐈🐈⬛ I'm highly allergic but after taking reactine I survived lol
The workers were very kind and the cats were very cute:) The Cat Gentleman sandwich was delicious!
Service
Kitties were taken care of very well, and some of them loved to interact with humans, they like to be petted or sit on your lap, even trying to take a bite of our food, so be aware! I wish I can stay there for 5 hours and more lol
It was so fun! The cats were the cutest and the food was great too. It's a really fun experience. The cats walk around on their walkways of the ceiling – must-see in Montreal!
Nice and spacious cafe, the cats and the baristas were very friendly
Can I bring my own cat?
I am currently sitting in the cafe, have been for about 30minutes now. we have not been seen by a waiter even tho people who arrived after us in the same section have gotten their drinks. there are currently 9 people in the vestibule, when the max is four- there have been more and the number is only increasing and no one on staff gives a damn. kids are running around without parent supervision. people are waking up cats to pet and take pictures. they are crowding around the register to pet cats and ask if that is where they are supposed to order because no one is taking orders. if someone sees this before a waiter notices us- please take our order! we are next to the bookshelf. TLDR: the people patronizing this place are just as misbehaved as the staff.
Took over 30 mins to get our coffees. They mixed up the drinks, which were of poor quality and had to wait an additional 10 mins. Staff was rude and inattentive.
Wonderful place, though limited seating where cats are comfortable to join you. Could use more couches
Service is really long, expect 1h before they serve you (didn't go during rush hour, it was almost empty).
Great atmosphere. Service is good. Food and beverages aswell. Vegetarian friendly with Vegan options.
very relaxing and cute place! the kittens are very well cared and the service is excellent, i love this place. ♡♡♡
I recently visited Happy Cat Café and overall it was an okay experience, but not one I’d feel the need to repeat. When you first arrive, you’re made to wait in a very cold vestibule until a staff member notices you, which wasn’t a great first impression—especially in winter. You’re then asked to remove your shoes, and the provided slippers had clearly absorbed a lot of melted snow, making them wet and uncomfortable. Inside, the café itself is nice and clean, and the tables are well spaced, which I appreciated. However, there were only about seven cats during my visit, so interactions felt limited—if someone else was already spending time with a cat, there wasn’t much opportunity to engage. The food was decent, but nothing memorable. Overall, it was fine to try once, but it feels like a one-and-done experience for me rather than somewhere I’d go back to.
All the cats loved me. And I loved them too. The hot chocolate was nice; my fianceé and I each had a delicious cup which really warmed us up in the winter when we made our visit. Much love from Barbados, tell the cats pssssst pssssst from the pair of us!
