Our favorite restaurant that we have been traveling to for 10 years now. We literally will drive the 3.5 hours up for a dinner date and drive back home. Good food, great service and the best section of Montreal!

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after shopping in Old Montreal, looking forward to relaxing with a beer or cocktail. When we walked in, there were plenty of open bar seats, but we were told we had to wait in line to be seated. The line appeared to be for dining tables, not bar stools, so this policy felt unnecessary and confusing. After about 10 minutes, we were finally seated at the bar, only to wait another 10 minutes after placing our drink order. The staff seemed overwhelmed and the bar appeared understaffed for a busy Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, the overall atmosphere didn’t help — the floors were visibly dirty with spilled food from previous guests. The beer itself was just okay, nothing memorable or worth going out of the way for. Based on this experience, I probably wouldn’t return or recommend it.
We had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The service was outstanding, especially thanks to Margo and Julian who were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. And the prices were very affordable, which made everything even better. We will definitely be coming back!
We waited at the door with other people at least 10mins before being greeted by the manager who seemed lost and clueless. The server was overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with her tables. We both ordered the same burger and one of us got something completely different but never had the chance to say anything. Food itself was mediocre at best, poutine nothing special - gravy was salty and flavourless and fries aren't house cut. Beer was at least cheap. Wouldn't return.
We walked into 3 Brasseurs with a party of 40+ (no reservation) on Valentine’s night and the young lady at the hostess stand figured out how to accommodate us all. Her name was Enola, she I believe is a manger and does not usually wait tables and took our entire party on herself. We had a private area upstairs with a private bar. She never once lost patience, she split the checks 15 ways, she was kind, and kept the drinks coming. I hope this employee gets some recognition! She could have easier said no way and turned us away. She made our night and it was the cherry on top for our trip to Canada to play youth hockey. Thank you Enola for your generosity, patience, and over the top customer service. Thank you! Highly recommend this place. Enola is the best!!!!
