Beer was horrible. I started getting asthma and my wife had chest pain. Went for happy hour.
Reviews / Ratings for 3 Brasseurs - Saint-Denis
The service was excellent, efficient and friendly despite how busy it was. The food was good and consistent with what you’d expect from a place like Les 3 Brasseurs. It’s also a great spot to enjoy a nice evening with a group. Overall, great value for money.
I was there yesterday, Wednesday. I've been there once before to eat and have a drink. I can't say I really like the place, but I have to say the beer this time was better than last time. I was there probably not at the best time, service wise, since it looked like they didn't have enough staff. I was there around 3pm. It looked like the guy greeting everyone was also doing his best to serve the tables when needed. He's was good, but the rest of the staff looked like they couldn't care less. No attention when empty beer glasses where right in their faces. Service always had to be requested. It was never offered except for the guy at the door. I could see when it was time to leave for me that it was getting more busy and more more staff was on site. Ordered the French onion soup which was not good and way to salty. I've eaten there before and the food is not really good. Looks like the place needs some better management since the attention to the customer was lacking.
Waitress was welcoming and very helpful.
Super service
Excellent service
Classic pub experience, chicken avocado sandwich was excellent, and the fries were solid. Definitely on the expensive side for the type of place, but in a great location.
A delightful spot for what we were looking for: lunch (we wanted to order a few small things and a couple of beers), warm atmosphere (a brewery never fails, especially during cold, wintery days), and friendly, accommodating staff (the young woman and man that took care of us were super friendly).
The food's okay if you need something quick and easy, but I wouldn't call any of it delicious. Service is usually good, no complaints there. But the vibe is just like any other basic pub, nothing special that makes it stand out from other bars in North America. Bathrooms were kinda clean, but they could probably check and clean them more often during a shift.
Went here for St.Pats and had a wonderful experience. The server Emmanuelle was amazing, she was kind and check in with us consistently. The beer here is amazing and you can watch the brewing process as you drink. Overall 10/10 highly recommend coming here.
Excellent all around! Fantastic team of servers, and the hostess helped us store our luggage in a small closed room right off the dining room. Great prices, and generous dishes.
Elyse was prompt and courteous.
Great dinner experience
Overall excellent. Service is a little slow, but it's a busy place so I can't fault that too much. The beer is excellent. My friends and I got a variety of their in house beer, and all of it was incredible. The Sugar Shack pint is to die for, and very reasonably priced. Great happy hour too. Food was normal for a brewpub place, a little pricey but good. The pulled pork sandwich was great value though. My only complaint is that the poutine you can swap your fries for is abysmal. Definitely not worth the +4$.
Cabane sucre menu was really delicious and the guys were very nice
Atmosphere was very coolHappy spoke English for usFood was great, beer was even better.
Normal but it can be more, better
Went to Les 3 Brasseurs on St-Denis around 5–5:30 PM for an early birthday dinner with my wife while we were out walking. We chose it mainly for convenience since it was nearby — unfortunately the experience was very poor from start to finish. The first issue was the entry/reception area. There was already a group of five waiting, and the space is too small to comfortably accommodate multiple parties. Another group came in behind us, the doors were being held open, and everyone was packed together with cold winter air blowing in. We waited about five minutes with no staff attending the reception area at all. Since no one came, we decided to sit ourselves at the bar, which many restaurants allow when seats are open. After about 15 minutes waiting at the bar, someone finally took our drink order — but instead of acknowledging the situation, we were lectured about waiting to be seated because that’s when menus are provided. The lack of awareness or empathy at that point really set the tone. We received our drinks before getting menus, then waited another 20+ minutes with no one returning to take our order. I also sat with an empty drink for a long stretch without anyone checking in. At that point we decided to leave and go somewhere else — even getting the bill was difficult because it was extremely hard to get anyone’s attention despite repeated attempts. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and lacking any clear leadership or customer service standards. It’s disappointing, especially for what was meant to be a nice birthday outing. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
A lot of choice of good beers, good food, perfectly positioned in Montreal on St-Denis, I recommend!
