Job offer for a sommelier. Full-time evening work with 4 weeks of vacation per year, parking, and a professional, busy environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and expand the wine cellar. Advise customers on food and wine pairings, craft beers, and spirits. Participate in the selection and purchasing of new products. Showcase local products. Provide ongoing staff training on new products and general wine knowledge. Participate in service and the overall customer experience.
Requirements
Training in sommellerie and experience in service. Passion for wine and openness to bold pairings. Knowledge of North American spirits (an asset). Good interpersonal skills, dynamism, and teamwork.
