For 30 years, the Crêperie du Vieux-Beloeil welcomes guests into a building to serve their bicentennial different varieties of pancakes.

Traditional pancake ham crepe innovative chorizo, cheese, tomatoes and black olives, which is also one of the specialties of the house, it proposes sixty meals and dessert crepes.

The restaurant is quite large and it is separated into different sections. During my visit, there were only a few tables occupied and I appreciated that the waitresses install clients within a reasonable distance instead of filling the tables one next to the other even though the restaurant was not not full.

Upon entering, you can see the chef preparing pancakes which puts us the mouth water just like the aroma that we feel when we entered the restaurant.

The service is fast and convenient. The waitress came up several times to make sure we wanted for nothing.

Various interesting entries is proposed. I enjoyed my entry gratin with seafood that made me a bit like a St-Jacques shell.

Pancakes have a different texture than you can eat elsewhere. They are crispy and the dough is a little sweet. You can choose between a wheat paste or dough buckwheat.

Pancake perhaps casually when it arrives in front of us, but it is busy and quite stodgy.

If you opt for a pancake with cheese, you'll be delighted to see that it will be busy.

A generous portion of syrup is also available on the table.

Although I have not been hungry enough to try it, the dessert crepes list is quite enticing.

The prices are affordable and the restaurant is as suitable for a family dinner that evening as a couple or with friends. It offers a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The creperie offers affordable wines to accompany your meal.

In summer, the property features a large terrace that runs along the building.

Interestingly, the restaurant received four stars in the Guide Debeur in 2011.

To make life easier for customers, it would be preferable for the pancake inscribe its opening hours on its website, which is not currently the case, but at least they are shown on the answering machine.

I recommend this restaurant if you love pancakes and you want to discover new varieties.
