I had already tried several times delicious gourmet burgers Chez Victor, but this time I wanted to test lunches, offered only in a few branches, including that of Beauport.

Offered on Saturdays and Sundays between 8 am and 14 pm, lunches have drawn right after me. The card out of the box and provides a nice alternative to traditional restaurant lunches. Indeed, burgers and poutine Version lunch on the menu; what a change! I appreciated the continuity of the regular card, since the establishment specializes in refined burgers and therefore wanted to transpose his specialty at breakfast. The restaurant also has a reputation for its home mayonnaises available in different flavors on the usual and the idea has been replicated by offering spreads house with various flavors: bacon jam, strawberry, creton, Cheddar Spread or choco-hazelnut.

For my part, I chose The Shredded Duck, a burger served on a brioche bread, topped with a poached egg, duck confit house, cheddar, fresh sage, lettuce and mayonnaise. I have not regretted my choice at all, since the plate was delicious! The mixture creamy egg yolk with the slightly sweet brioche and duck was an absolute delight. Potatoes cooked in duck fat were also delicious. I enjoyed the dish is served with a fruit soup. If the taste was at the rendezvous, but the presentation was less careful. There was a towel under my glass on which the juice had been overthrown. Also, a portion of my plate remained empty, it seemed that something was missing.

During my visit, the restaurant was very busy and there were a few gaps in the service. The waitress had many omissions and we had to call back several times. She had not brought the toast boy nor his glass of milk and finally she did not return offer coffee stove.

Several decorative elements however make the very convivial and trendy place like the contrast between the wood and metal as well as the colorful chairs. The restaurant is still very family friendly, despite its appearance trend. High chairs, booster seats, children's menu and changing tables are available.

Finally, I also appreciated the additional information on the menu, such as from certain foods and lack of growth hormones and antibiotics in the chosen meat.
