The event YUL-EAT Destination Gourmande in Montreal

Organised by l’association des restaurateurs de rue du Québec in collaboration with Evenko, the event YUL-EAT (Experience, Appetite and Terroir) will be making his first ever present and beautiful gourmet activities accessible to all, since the entrance is free.

According to Marie-Claude Elie-Morin, communications director of marketing for l’association des restaurateurs de rue du Québec, 46 trucks will be at the event on Friday, the largest gathering of its kind to date, which will appeal to all tastes. Saturday, it's 25 trucks that will be expected throughout the day.

The event will take place at The Esplanade SunLife Olympic Park, corner of Pie-IX and Pierre de Coubertin on Friday 5 and Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014.

Schedule of Events:
Friday 5
16h to 23h First Fridays: Love and Music with The Franklin Electric and Buddy McNeil & the Magic Mirrors.

Saturday 6
10 to 22 counters discoveries: 25 exhibitors local producers and distributors will be on hand to talk with you.

10am to 22pm Fair Cookbook: Several authors will be on hand. Presented by the greedy bookstore Jean-Talon Market.

11h to 16h lyrics pros: Mini-conferences of about 20 minutes each delivered by professionals who will share their expertise as well as a discussion of ideas and opinions among known food critics in the field of catering, moderated by Christian Bégin.

11h to 15h YUL Brunch: 8 chefs prepare a dish each to serve a brunch 8 services. The ticket cost is $ 45 and it is best to get it in advance on Admission.

13h to 16h culinary Fight of La Tablée des Chefs: It will be three graduates of culinary brigades La Tablée des Chefs accompanied by their trainer who will compete in a friendly concocting sealed with a basket of items that their mysteries be awarded. They will have 1:30 to complete the test. Finally, they will present it all to a jury that will determine the winner.

13h to 18h Olympics : Several races and competitions are organized between teams that have been made, for the most part, employees of different restaurants. All in a festive atmosphere.

20h to midnight Garden Party: It's time to celebrate the end of the first edition of the event in music with We Are Wolves, DJ Heat and John Lee.
