My first visit to the branch of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville's Restaurant Steak Frites St-Paul was a pleasant surprise.

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I enjoyed the intimate and ideal for romantic dinners for couples or friends.

The service and the excellent taste of the food were also charmed me.

The menu is presented on paintings on the walls. Meat, fish and seafood are featured. This menu is fixed, but it also offers daily suggestions.

As a starter, you can opt for tapas, Tartar or a traditional choice and more receive a free house salad. Some dishes are offered for two. They come as a bonus with sautéed mushrooms and more green beans and fries that accompany every meal. The chips are also at will and may be accompanied by a Dijon mayonnaise.

The food is excellent and the service is quite fast. The servers are attentive and come regularly to make sure we do not miss anything. They are professional and courteous.

In addition, it is a bring your own wine so no need to break the bank if you want to accompany your meal with a drink.

The only complaint I could make about this restaurant is that my piece of filet mignon was small. By cons, it was delicious quality meat which offsets.

In addition, we offer three choices of sauces are all excellent: pepper, mushrooms and Dijon. If you do not decide, you can order a sauce for only 50 cents.

One thing is sure: I frequently go back to this restaurant and I recommend it without hesitation!
